Description

Parliament determines how much public money the state may spend and in what way. This is one of the most powerful instruments of control over the executive. It is used not only by parliament, but also by specialised oversight bodies like the Court of Audit. However, exercising this oversight is a challenge to the determination and the expertise of the controllers.

The training course and seminar will explore these challenges and appropriate responses. Subjects to the discussed will include:
