In this Harmonie Paper one can find the contributions and conclusions of the joint Bilkent–Centre for European Security Studies Conference entitled ‘Peace Support Operations: The past and the future’ (12-13 November 2007). The aim of the conference, organized in cooperation with the Bilkent Department of International Relations (Turkey), was to create a better understanding of the complex phenomena of peace support operations.
